LS225 coating thickness gauge, when equipped with the F500 probe, is specifically designed for the measurement of coating thickness on ferromagnetic metal substrates. This instrument boasts an exceptionally high level of measurement accuracy and repeatability, making it suitable for testing ultra-thin coatings with a thickness of less than 10μm. It uses a probe-type sensor with a minimum measurement area diameter as small as 7 millimeters, making it particularly well-suited for testing small-sized materials. When used in conjunction with a dedicated handheld test fixture, it achieves a repeatability of 0.1 micrometers.
